I am a blogger?

I am a blogger. I say this to convince myself- not you. I have no clue what I am doing, but I have friends who have convinced me that I should be doing this, so here I am. Perhaps I will get the hang of it. This is the most recent photo I had of myself. On Labor day I went to a balloon festival here in Colorado Springs. I think the kids liked the balloons, but not as much as I did. We met a group of families from church and I thought it was pretty cool. The best part was when they lifted off the ground and went a few hundred feet south, and tried to touch down their baskets on the lake. Some barely skimmed the water, and others practically went swimming. The worst part was when Derek decided to go to the playground with us, but he forgot "us". He was lost for about 10 minutes, just long enough for him to decide there were a lot of people at the park, and he didn't know any of them. When I found him, he was more than happy to stay next to me until we left, as was I.

Congratulations on starting your blog. I started my blog over a year ago, made two entries and then promptly forgot about it for a year. Rachael's blog guilted me back into writing, and I've been a lot better with it since. I now go throughout my day thinking "I need to blog about this!" Crazy huh? Well, I hope you have fun with yours.
